Students will develop sewing machine skills, learn how to take accurate measurements and produce a garment from scratch. Students will also acquire marketing skills such as building a facebook page in order to advertise themselves and their work.

Learners at this course will have the chance to create a variety of projects, if they wish, or be supported in making something of their own choice. During this course you will gain a recognised level 1 qualification in fashion Sewing Skills, you will follow the syllabus/course guide to produce samples in clean and tidy order. Each sample will be documented with supporting evidence. You will produce your samples in an organised manner, by portfolio or similar.
