Sewing for Business

Ref: C3847244

During the past year we have all had time to reflect on what we really want out of life and the possibilities of what we can do. For many of us we have been drawn to exploring new avenues for income and have recognised sewing as a key skill and secure potential business idea. With this in mind the WEA have developed a Beginners Guide to Sewing into Business. Over the twelve weeks you will develop the skills and confidence to sew your own apron or tote bag and be equipped with the know how to create an income stream to support yourself in the future. Through out the program we will be encouraging students to apply basic business principles to gain the confidence to sell what they make online or in person use the sewing skills to deliver basic alterations to their clients or community. Remember hobbies can turn into a business.
