Come and join WEA's class at Linkdbridge Community Centre, Burnley, in a comfortable, secure and friendly atmosphere, and learn about the essentials of safe driving/driving learning theory. You will have opportunities to ask questions and have discussions with other learners, some who have taken the test before and are coming back to refresh their knowledge to retake the test.

Course aim

Road Safety/Driving theory test has to be passed before one can take one's car on the road. You will learn about the Highway Code, about the traffic signs and about the essential skills required to be a safe driver

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • You will know the basics of driving theory and safety on the roads
  • You will learn and know about the traffic signs
  • You will know some basic traffic laws and how to keep safe
  • You will be more confident and feel safer on the roads
  • You will learn where to give your test in your locality
