Guitar For Beginners & Improvers

Whether you're a complete beginner or have already begun on your guitar journey, this course aims to develop, expand upon various aspects of guitar playing from chord theory and harmony to musicianship skills and more. This course offers the student the opportunity to further their knowledge in various forms and styles from Finger style, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Pop and current music.

Course aim

This course aims to provide an enriching, safe and inclusive environment for everyone involved. Promoting health and mental well being by playing music as part of an ensemble.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Identify and play simple chords.
  • Understand basic harmony.
  • Be able to play as part of an ensemble.
  • Have a greater understanding of rhythm and tempo.
  • Develop a wider understanding of styles of music.
