A friendly and accessible guide to expressing ourselves on the page - how to write, style and structure what we want to say to suit the circumstances, be this an article, a blog or for a website. Just how should we put those words down on the page, we consider just who you wish to write for, why and how this alters style and approach.

Course aim

A guide to how best to expressing and present ourselves on the page, how to write, style and structure what we want to say to suit the circumstances, be this an article, a blog or for a website.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers
  • No previous experience required - Open to All.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Express an understanding of the processes involved in writing for publication.
  • Demonstrate confidence in your own abilities to comment on, critiquing and/or editing a feature article.
  • Draw from own skills, experience and interests in creating a works of your own in accordance to one of more of the 'publication formats' covered.
  • Display competence in the development of written texts which adhere to the forms covered.
  • Demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm for the subject area.

Enrolment Conditions
