Chair Yoga

Ref: C3680151

This Chair Yoga course will allow participants to remain seated for the whole session. This course aims to bring yoga to people who may feel that a general yoga class may not suit them for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you have arthritis, chronic fatigue, have difficulty transitioning from lying to sitting or standing ? Or you would like to try some light exercise, learn breathing techniques, gentle stretches and improve your ability to relax. We will focus on calming breathing techniques, developing flow in our practice by linking the breath and movement in sequence. We will practice a range of chair poses that improve both your strength and flexibility. All classes will end with a guided relaxation. There will be the option to stand for some exercises if you want to and you can also lie down for the relaxation if you prefer. Our main focus will be on enjoying the practice and benefits of Yoga in a chair
