Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners and improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Develop your practice of Sectional Breathing (abdominal, thoracic and clavicular breathing) helping you to release tension through breath awareness.
- Practice gentle movements and self massage techniques to alleviate tension in the body.
- Practice sound release as a method to release tension, create space in the mind and body and experience stillness.
- Practice simple and effective breathing techniques to calm the mind.
- Improve your ability to relax by following a range of guided, deep relaxation practices.
What else do I need to know?
You will need something comfortable to lie on, a yoga mat, rug or thick blanket. You may need cushions for support, you may prefer to sit in a chair for the seated practices.
