The course is taught in a fun and friendly atmosphere by a native speaker who has many years of experience of teaching French to adults. The emphasis is on spoken French and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to engage in lively whole class or group conversations to describe and discuss current social, cultural and political issues based on the materials provided by the tutor, or materials you may want to contribute and share with the other learners. The materials consist mainly of French magazines and newspapers articles, TV news extracts or other audio or visual materials. The topics can be tailored to the learners' needs and interests on request. You will also develop your reading, listening and writing skills through a variety of stimulating activities.
