Mindfulness and other techniques to improve your well-being

Suitable for beginners or improvers this course has its roots in Mindfulness practice. Connecting with others through shared experience and support, it will give you the opportunity to STOP and breathe, once a week - to gather your thoughts and reflect on where you are in life. Holistic tools have had such a positive effect on Jude’s mental health and wellbeing over the years and she is passionate about sharing these (so often very simple) techniques with others. As well as developing a regular mindfulness practice, we will touch on meditation and relaxation and a range of energy techniques aimed at bringing greater balance and flow into our lives. We will explore and discuss the teachings of holistic teachers and you will be encouraged to capture your progress through journaling (if journaling is your thing – nothing is compulsory).

With its roots in Mindfulness practice and through a spirit of shared experience and support this course encourages the importance of self-care and explores a range of holistic tools and techniques for personal growth and wellbeing.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Describe the basics of mindfulness practice.
  • Experience how mindfulness practice can impact my life.
  • Experience how at least 3 holistic tools and techniques might have a positive effect on wellbeing.
  • Feel confident in sharing my experience and connecting with others via Zoom
  • Understand the concept of a MInd, Body and Spirit approach to life.
