Art Journaling

In this art journaling class we will be looking at some basic techniques which we can use to art journal. We will explore mark making and doodling. We will look at how we can best represent and create letters to bring words into our journals. We will explore different ways of using colour and image. We will create a mandala as well as other interesting pages in our journal.

An online class where we will use art journaling to explore our creative expression.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • I will use lettering in a variety of ways in my journal.
  • I will explore mark making in my pages.
  • I will create a mandala.
  • I will use doodling in my art journal.

What else do I need to know?

You will need an art journal, pens, pencils and markers. Paints are optional, either acrylic and/or watercolour. You might like to get some stickers and collage materials (such as scissors, glue, old magazines, interesting paper such as wrapping paper (used is fine).
