The British Isles has a relatively small native flora, however there are a wide range of habitats including woodlands, grasslands, heaths and urban habitats. These and other habitats will be studied and will demonstrate how to identify the common wild flowers and understand their importance in the ecosystem. The course will include information on the conservation and current threats to native wild flowers.
