Have you tried different types of diets to help you lose weight, and then it just gets put back on? Or are you thinking about health and want to change your eating patterns to improve your outlook? Do you find it is like an uphill battle with the confusing messages about what is healthy, and what is not. This course will look at some important elements relating to food, nutrition and the industry connected to these, and will discuss the importance of mind-set and food behaviour. Taking several guided steps to improve your knowledge and confidence with food, therefore empowering you to invest in a healthy life plan that you can be in control of.

Course aim

This course discusses issues relating to food and living a healthy lifestyle. It is designed to be realistic, and adaptable to suit your own circumstances.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Understand how some nutrients can affect body processes
  • Apply some dietary knowledge to my personal circumstances
  • Identify how sugar might affect the personal weight management

  • You are aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2021
  • You declare that the address you provide is correct and that you will provide evidence of this and your eligibility to live and work in the UK
