This course aims to provide guidance on creating and sharing files. Use Google Apps such as Docs to create documents and learn how to add pictures . Save your files securely and upload them onto the Canvas site. Create presentations using Google Slides and share on Zoom and on Canvas. All you need is a google or gmail email address but do not worry if you do not already have one as we can create one during the first session. There will also be time to discuss any IT concerns or issues yo may have.

Course aim

To provide assistance and guidance on using Google free apps such as Docs and Slides to create and save documents, leaflets and presentations. You will then be able to upload the files to Canvas and share your screen on Zoom.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • upload work to Canvas
  • share screen on Zoom
  • use Google Docs to create documents and leaflets
  • find and work with pictures
  • use Goggle Slides to create presentations

The course will be delivered over Zoom and Canvas so you will need access to the internet. Notebook and pen might be useful. All files and guides will be provided.
