ESOL for Beginners ( Pre Entry 2)

In this course we will talk about everyday topics like travel, health and where you live. We will practise short conversations, listen for information, read and write simple sentences, to help you talk to your neighbours, go to appointments by yourself, or join in with local groups.

Course aim

This course will help you to develop your confidence and skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing in English at Pre-Entry 2 level.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners
  • Before you can join this course you will need to talk to a member of staff and do an initial assessment to make sure the course is right for you. Please call the Student Support Team on 0300 303 3464

  • Give basic personal information
  • Ask for personal information
  • Follow instruction
  • Express likes, dislikes and feelings
  • Ask for help
