In order to be more sustainable, many supermarkets and local shops would reduce the price of food which is approaching their use-by date or have offers on surplus food which can be made into delicious meals or frozen for a later use. On this course, learners will be able to learn exciting recipes and learn creative ideas to use surplus food which would otherwise go to waste! Course aim
Learners will be able to promote sustainability by changing attitudes to food and society’s impact on the environment by cooking with surplus ingredients. Learners will be able to use perfectly good food which would actually go to waste.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Understand the importance of using surplus food.
- List the ingredients of 'Saag Paneer'
- Identify ways to reduce carbon footprint related to food.
- Summarise how excessive vegetables can be used for exciting recipes.
- Understand and demonstrate how to participate in Canvas discussions and upload pictures on to Canvas.
