Confidence to Learn Customer Services

During this course, learners will gain the knowledge and understand of working as part of a team. You will also gain an understanding of GDPR, safeguarding and prevent, and why it is important. In customer services you would normally be a first contact for the customer, therefore you will learn how to speak with confidence, and take ownership of the conversation whilst being empathetic. This course is part of a programme in which would gain the skills to work as a customer services representative in a call centre.

Course aim

Is to gain an understanding as to what is required when working as a customer services representative in a call centre.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Identify examples of good customer service
  • Identify examples of bad customer service
  • Demonstrate confidence with call techniques
  • Demonstrate how you would take a call and type information at the same time
  • Show an understanding of GDPR

This course is funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority but is also open to residents of other areas.
