This Psychology course is suitable for beginners and those who are doing or completed the ‘Introduction to Psychology’ course and wanting to further develop their theories on Psychology. It will examine the concepts of intelligence (ability to think and solve problems); personality (the individuals personality characteristics), early experience and social development (the aspects of a child’s development), and social perception (the perception of people, as opposed to being physical objects, how people come to know about each other’s’ temporary states). You will explore the topics through presentations, discussions and written explanations. This topic is relevant to a wide range of jobs in the public, voluntary and community sectors.

Course aim

This course is suitable for beginners or those who have completed ‘Introduction to Psychology’ or have an interest in Psychology. Covering subjects such as: Intelligence, Personality, Social Perception, Early Experience and Social Development.
