IT Skills for ESOL

Ref: C2527600

IT Skills for ESOL is a component of the ESOL for Employment package. The goal of this component is to introduce you to some useful online learning resources, so that you can independently direct your own path for learning English. You will also be introduced to some of the features on Canvas, the virtual learning environment used on all WEA courses, to maximise your engagement with the lessons, materials, your classmates and most of all the target language, i.e. English.

Course aim

To introduce students to independent, self-directed language learning with the help of online resources. To build students' confidence in engaging with Canvas, the virtual learning environment WEA uses, to maximise language learning.
