Northumberland Art - The final Exhibition

Following on from the Painting and Drawing inspired by Northumberland course and a documented journey to a cultural venue/site a celebration of images will be planned and exhibited. Learners will be motivated and challenged to recognise where and how they can share and publicise work considering issues such as access, publicity and marketing.

Course aim

To create an exhibition of work that celebrates Northumberland's creative culture.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • know how to plan an exhibition including handling and framing art work.
  • know how to plan an exhibition including displaying art work.
  • Know 2 marketing methods to publicise an exhibition.
  • understand how to value and price your art work.
  • Understand a venue's health and safety procedures when exhibiting to the public.

This course is funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority but is also open to residents of other areas.
