Course aim

This short course will demonstrate some of the IT skills needed to use WEA learning platform Canvas and identify IT skills needed to work as a Community Interpreter

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Log on to Canvas
  • Identify your 5 learning goals and complete these in Canvas
  • Use IT skills to upload one piece of work using Canvas
  • Use IT skills Respond to one piece of feedback from the tutor via Canvas
  • Use IT skills to retrieve a Community Interpreting case studdy

This course is funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority but is also open to residents of other areas.
