This course is designed for those who wish to develop and improve their English. Learners will see development of their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. This course will develop key skills in communication, vocabulary and grammar all at the appropriate level. There will be a variety of different learning methods, such as independent work, group work and class based discussions. The topics included will reflect everyday English in everyday life situations.

Course aim

The main purpose of this course is to help improve basic English skills and boost the learners confidence in this area.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Know one way to enhance your listening skills
  • Increase your vocabulary
  • Know when to use past, present and future tense
  • Use skimming, scanning and detailed reading in different ways for different purposes
  • Feel more confident and capable in using the spoken and written word for everyday tasks and self expression
