Course aim

Learn the basics of Microsoft Word to start to produce professional documents and letters for business or home use.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners
  • You will need a computer with Microsoft Word installed. We will be using the internet to download files from the WEA in-class website.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Learn how to open and close Microsoft Word safely.
  • Identify various templates and use them.
  • Enter text, and format it.
  • Navigate around the page.
  • Print and save your document.
