Healthy eating and gentle exercise helps us to look at our current eating and activity plans and make healthy and sustainable changes to benefit our overall health and well-being. Planning our own individual healthy eating plan to either maintain or lose weight or simply to eat well for better health. We will also be learning how planning some gentle seated mobility and energising stretches into our routine can enhance our health and well-being and reduce the risk of certain disorders and disease.

Course aim

Healthy eating and gentle exercise is a gentle but effective course to help re-examine our current eating and activity and create heathy and sustainable lifestyle changes to benefit health and well-being.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Understand about the importance of eating well and choosing healthy options and the impact on my health.
  • Perform seated gentle mobility moves and stretches to introduce activity into my routine and enhance my well-being.
  • Plan my own individual healthy eating and activity plan and set SMART goals that I can achieve.
  • Use relaxation techniques to help me create a good mindset.
