Garment Making for Intermediate to Advanced III

Learners will be introduced to a range of more complex sewing skills and techniques, learn how to make more complex garments for themselves using both stretch and non-stretch fabrics, and in the process further develop their pattern cutting skills.

Course aim

The course is for experienced learners who would like to build upon their sewing skills and techniques, gain a better understanding of how different types of garments are constructed, and further develop their pattern cutting and manipulation skills.

  • Learn a range of new skills and techniques used in garment making
  • Further develop their garment construction skills and techniques
  • Further develop their pattern cutting and manipulation skills
  • Produce a selection of garments using both stretch and non-stretch fabrics
