The aim of this course is to enable you to develop into a more confident and effective leader, through understanding the benefits of good time management for yourself and your teams, through learning the skills and techniques to put good time management into practice, to reserve and re-focus your energy and make the most effective use of your time to achieve the desired outcomes.

This course is only for participants engaged on the Smart and Inclusive Leadership Project in the D2N2 area. This project is part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF)

Course aim

To enable you to develop into a more confident and effective leader, through understanding the benefits of good time management for yourself and your teams, through learning the skills and techniques to put good time management into practice.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • State the benefits of good time management
  • Give examples of the effects of poor time management
  • Identify a specific time management technique that can be used to improve your own use of time
  • Identify aspects of your own time management plan that went well
  • Identify what you could improve on
