This course is designed to help you to improve your cake baking, frosting and decorating skills. It will help you gain confidence to excel into employment too. This is a hands on course which helps you learn a lot of new skills and lets you experiment things for yourself in order to master the techniques.

Course aim

Produce and reflect upon your cake decorating skills. At the end of the course you will have gained enough skills to create a master piece of your own to show .

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Build on skills to enable you to bake perfect vanilla and chocolate cakes.
  • Build on skills to understand how to prepare buttercream, different fillings and ganache.
  • Practice new fondant icing skills.
  • Develop techniques to create a smooth canvas using buttercream.
  • Independently assemble a celebration cake from scratch using skills learnt.

Apron Note book , pen Tools but this you will be told before every sessions. Ingredients will be discussed during the session and will go with the majority with how it will be done.
