A workshop focused around effective job searching, this will include how to write a CV, cover letter, different ways of job searching and how to succeed in an interview. We will also look at transferable skills and how to keep positive during the process. Ideal for those new to job searching or wanting to boost confidence when job searching and understanding what makes you valuable to an employer.

Course aim
A exploration of CV and cover letter writing, job searching and interview preparation. We will look at way to cover gaps in employment and how to best showcase your skills and abilities.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Understand and know how to format and what to include in a CV.
- Understand and know how to format and what to include in a cover and speculative letter.
- Understand and know how to search for a job online.
- Understand and know how to prepare and take part in a job interview.
What else do I need to know?
A current cv or list of employment history and details of any qualifications would be very helpful.
