The three sessions focus on making natural alternatives to commercial cleaners and beauty products. Learners will discover a more eco-friendly approach, with non-toxic products that don't cost the earth and are gentle on the pocket.

Course aim

Making green alternatives to cleaning products and beauty treatments. Learners will use natural materials to create their own eco products.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Recognise chemicals in our cleaners
  • Use safe alternatives
  • Safely follow natural recipes
  • Use appropriate natural ingredients on the skin

First 2 sessions;- white vinegar, (Tesco), bicarbonate of soda, (Boyes), borax substitute, (Boyes), unperfumed liquid laundry soap, (Wilko), washing soda, (supermarkets or Boyes), essential oils lavender or rosemary. We will discuss materials to make beauty products in final session.
