The Battle of Culloden

Ref: C2346541

The Battle of Culloden was one of the most significant battles in English and Scottish history as it strengthened the Hanoverian rule in both countries. But have you ever considered the reasons for this battle? Have you wondered why the battle ended in the way that it did? During this brief session I will begin to investigate the events leading up to the battle, the events that occurred during the battle and the significance of the battle to the countries of England and Scotland. I will also look at some of the repercussions of the battle and at how it affected life in both countries after the event. Join me to investigate how the individuals involved were affected by the battle and at how military tactics were used to affect the outcome.
