This course will introduce you to mindfulness meditation. You will have the chance to experience many different mindful and other styles of meditation practice. I will hold a non judgmental and supportive space and guide you to find a style of practice that you may like to incorporate into life. You will be invited to practice at home and I will point to resources that you can use outside of class to deepen this work. Using journaling and personal reflection practices you will create a deeper understanding of your practice. We will take a brief look into the science to further aid our understanding of the benefits and encourage continued practice and look at how the practice of mindful living can aid us in our personal lives and as Thich Nhat Hanh says of meditation how “We keep our appointment with life”
