To consolidate & refresh German knowledge & gain insight into German culture. Extend language skills by increasing vocabulary & learning grammar to enhance spontaneous communication. Immersion in the German language and having fun! This course is fully online with no physical meeting space, accessing the course through Canvas our virtual learning environment and zoom a video conferencing software. The course will be based on the online course Nicos Weg A2.

Course aim

This course will enable you to communicate at an A2 level in German so that you can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to familiar topics. Can get by in typical daily situations and can lead short conversations.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners
  • At A2 level, you can get by in typical daily situations and can lead short conversations. You can use simple grammatical structures correctly. Will use online course Nicos Weg A2 level

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Talk about your family.
  • Describe a daily routine.
  • Make travel plans. Ask about public transport and book a journey. To be able to buy tickets & enquire about departure and arrival times.
  • Discuss hobbies and leisure time. Express likes and dislikes
  • Order food and drink in a restaurant. Gain an insight into typical German food and drink
