This course will support you in addressing your thinking and behaviour to further your emotional wellbeing.
Course description:
This programme will enable you to: • Improve your confidence and self esteem • Manage your anxiety and response in stressful situations • Improve your interaction with others • Pursue your goals • Say No and manage conflict • Enjoy a greater quality of life
By the end of the course I will be able to:
1. Be able to explain what emotional wellbeing means?
2. Describe how to change thinking and behaviour to improve mental wellbeing
3. Learn how to address stress
4. Describe strategies to increase self esteem and confidence

How will I learn?

We expect you to attend your classroom sessions and make time to do any required learning activities on your own.

The WEA tutor will use a range of teaching and learning activities and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning. Your tutor will use tasks to see how you are learning, which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects, discussion, written or practical work. Your tutor will give you feedback on your learning and progress.

This includes using Canvas to think about and record your progress and to give your tutor and the WEA feedback on your course. WEA online sessions/ courses- Zoom
