Course aim:
To introduce students to drawing on an iPad
Course description:
This short course will introduce you to the joys of digital drawing. Over 3 sessions you will explore the different methods of making vibrant and complex images. iPads will be provided for these sessions. You will be working with digital artist Ruth Collett, who kept a digital diary through lockdown, and is passionate about the possibilities of digital drawing.
By the end of the course I will be able to:
1. By the end of the sessions you will gain confidence in the "Hello Colour Pencil" digital drawing program
2. By the end of the sessions you will create a series of drawings in this program
3. By the third session will explore a detailed project
4. By the end of the session you will understand how to download and post your images
How will I learn?

We expect you to attend your classroom sessions and make time to do any required learning activities on your own.

The WEA tutor will use a range of teaching and learning activities and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning. Your tutor will use tasks to see how you are learning, which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects, discussion, written or practical work. Your tutor will give you feedback on your learning and progress.
