You will need a sturdy chair, a scarf or belt, a blanket and possibly a cushion. Please ensure you fill in the Pre-exercise quiz so I can assess if the class is suitable for you and to provide modifications if necessary so you can access the class.
Course aim:
This is a yoga class in which learners will be seated in a chair.
Course description:
This is Chair Yoga class for students who either want a gentle class or who need to have a seated yoga class. It is gentle and designed to support those who can't access a regular yoga class.
By the end of the course I will be able to:
1. follow a warm up sequence.
2. do at least 3 different yoga postures modified for Chair Yoga.
How will I learn?

We expect you to attend your classroom sessions and make time to do any required learning activities on your own.

The WEA tutor will use a range of teaching and learning activities and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning. Your tutor will use tasks to see how you are learning, which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects, discussion, written or practical work. Your tutor will give you feedback on your learning and progress.
