Course aim:
The Drama course is designed to encourage participation in exploring a variety of drama techniques, script work, Song and movement. Improving confidence and health and wellbeing.
Course description:
Through drama learners have the opportunities to be creative and experience inspiration and enjoyment. Creating and exploring a variety of dramatic disciplines. Improving confidence, communication skills and health & well being. This course is for residents of Newcastle, Northumberland and North Tyneside who attend a specific centre only.
By the end of the course I will be able to:
1. Explore scripts. Building confidence in my reading snd vocabulary skills.
2. Develop self confidence and self expression acting out different characters
3. Sing together as a group. Recalling lyrics developing confidence, happiness and positivity through song
4. As a group work together to perform a script to an audience
How will I learn?

We expect you to attend your classroom sessions and make time to do any required learning activities on your own.

The WEA tutor will use a range of teaching and learning activities and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning. Your tutor will use tasks to see how you are learning, which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects, discussion, written or practical work. Your tutor will give you feedback on your learning and progress.
