Due to Health and Safety regulations you will need to bring your own mehndi. This can be a mehndi cone that you can easily purchase from any shop or alternatively, make your own.
Course aim:
Introducing you to the art of applying henna with confidence and enhancing your skills. You will learn how to design, draw and apply traditional henna patterns, thereby increasing your prospects of employment. Come join me now!
Course description:
Beginners course designed especially to increase your confidence in applying henna as well as to enhance your skills. Use this amazing course as a stepping stone to improve your employment prospects, open your own small business, or just for fun. Taught by a professional henna artist, you will benefit by learning how to design, draw and apply traditional henna patterns on your hands and other household items.
By the end of the course I will be able to:
1. Learn skills on how to make your own mehndi paste along with mastering the art of making your own mehndi cone.
2. Learn the correct method for holding and using your mehndi cone effectively.
3. Increase your confidence in applying mehndi to create different styles.
4. Learn to recognise the different types of mehndi, along with their advantages and disadvantages .
How will I learn?

We expect you to attend your classroom sessions and make time to do any required learning activities on your own.

The WEA tutor will use a range of teaching and learning activities and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning. Your tutor will use tasks to see how you are learning, which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects, discussion, written or practical work. Your tutor will give you feedback on your learning and progress.
