This online course will support you to feel more confident in reading, writing, speaking and listening in English. We will look at grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary and word order to ensure you communicate effectively and clearly in a range of everyday situations.

Course aim

This course, aimed at ESOL speakers with Entry 2 level skills, will build up English language skills and will help increase your confidence in communicating in everyday situations.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • write a formal email using appropriate grammar and spelling and punctuation.
  • spell common words, about myself and everyday situations
  • read a text to identify main points
  • have a simple conversation with another person
