POST-IMPRESSIONISM An introduction to the work of the Post-Impressionist artists, investigating their historical context, exploring their innovative styles and examining their artistic legacy.

- Identify the work of the Post-Impressionist artists.
- Identify the painting characteristics of Post-Impressionism.
- Understand 4 differences between Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painting styles.
- Historically contextualize the work of the Post-Impressionist artists.
- Explain how the artists involved in Post-Impressionism helped shape contemporary art today.
What else do I need to know?
You will need an internet connection, speakers, a microphone and a webcam so that you can use our video learning platform Zoom. You will also need access to the internet outside of your session and a personal email address to join Canvas. Pre-research for each lecture is posted to Canvas.
