In this workshop you will have the opportunity to design and make a wreath or other Christmas decoration of your choice using plant material (seed heads, berries, foliage etc.) and other natural materials. You will cut and twist hazel, willow or dogwood canes or cut cardboard to make a frame and then use hemp, string or strips of cotton or linen to attach decorative material to the frame. You can produce a decoration suitable for indoor or outdoor use: an item to decorate your front door, the Christmas dinner table, a mantelpiece or a stair rail, or to frame a mirror or picture, or a decoration to hang in a window.
Course aim
Make a Christmas wreath or other Christmas decoration of your choice using natural bio-degradable material, ie no metal, plastic or glass.
