The course begins with observational drawing, throughout the course a selection of themes will be considered. Students will engage in a variety of drawing processes. Students can use their own drawing mediums of choice and are encouraged to use any materials they already have in order to keep costs down.
Course aim
The aim of this course is to develop the many possibilities of drawing. By drawing from observation and imagination, providing a base for future artwork.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners and improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Demonstrate confidence in the medium of drawing.
- Develop and complete drawings.
- Select and research subject matter making use of course experiences.
- Generate preliminary work in sketchbooks.
- Create a portfolio of work.
What else do I need to know?
- Any drawing materials you may have already. Tutor will advise during the course.
