Then come along to this three week online workshop course and have a go at testing your creative writing abilities. Taught by a published poet and fiction writer, the course looks at how to expand and enhance a writing repertoire of ideas and abilities.
Course aim
The point of this course is for writers to maximise their creative writing skills via exercises and discussions taught by a published poet and fiction writer.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners and improvers
- New students will benefit from the knowledge and experience of returners.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- List three skills that aid the building of narrative.
- Consider and analyse narrative focus.
- Compare and juxtapose differing images within a poem draft.
- Break down what techniques move a poem from image to central idea.

Please bring a writer's notebook, whatever form, digital or otherwise, this might take.
