Course aim

A one-off lecture with a Christmas theme

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • You will gain insights into the way Christmas or topics associated with Christmas have been represented in art.
  • You will gain insights into the way in which some artists expressed the concerns of their time through art.
  • You will gain appreciation of how artists of different time periods have aprpoached similar subject matters.
  • You will spend 90 minutes in the company of like minded people online.

This is a live lecture delivered by a subject specialist in an online webinar video learning platform. You will need to be able to access the internet on a device with speakers or earphones. There will be opportunities to take part in discussions and chats.
