With a reign of over six decades Ramesses II (the Great) is one of the best known ancient Egyptian pharaohs. This day school will explore the highlights of his long reign including his temple in Abydos, the tomb of Nefertari, Temple of Abu Simbel, the Battle of Kadesh and the first recorded peace treaty.
Course aim
This day school will explore the highlights of the reign of Ramesses II including the tomb of Nefertari, Temple of Abu Simbel and Battle of Kadesh.
