Singing - Chichester Reaching Out

Ref: C3745744

This course is about singing for well being and enjoyment. So many of us enjoy a good sing and it usually makes us feel better when we do! In the sessions we will explore fun ways to move and stretch and 'wake up' the body ready for singing. Rhythm is a big part of music and appeals to us deep within. We will share simple warm up songs and rhythms initially and then sing a variety of pieces from different genres, from folk and African songs through to well known popular and show songs. Even if the restrictions of covid require us to work on line, there is much we can share. Following my singing lead, working with backing tracks or even singing along with other choirs on line are all possibilities. Once we can meet in person, the sound of others joining together in song is always a heart warming experience.
