Our carers do a fantastic job and are some of the unsung heroes in society. This course is designed to provide a welcoming, fun and safe environment for carers to develop a range of skills to look after themselves: physically, mentally and emotionally and not just the loved ones they care for. This open, friendly and non-judgemental platform will provide a well-needed opportunity for carers to interact with other carers and discuss the everyday life issues they face, especially in these challenging times. It will be an opportunity to meet other carers who can relate to challenges associated with caring for a loved one and share experiences, encourage one another, problem-solve and celebrate their achievements, hard work and resilience.
