Follow a series of mini projects to explore the adventure amd expressive potential of mixed media. Learn how to construct and layer mixed media and incorporate textural elements in your artwork. No prior experience necessary - just a willingness to have a go, have fun and share ideas.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is suitable for beginners and improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Select and prepare surfaces for mixed media artwork.
- Explore acrylic painting techniques that combine other media. produce at least one completed piece of art work.
- Explore visual elements such as colour, shape and texture to create engaging artworks.
- Build confidence in creative work by exploring art techniques / processes and sharing ideas with others.

- You will be expected to carry out a range of activities in your own time

- You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
- You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
