Pilates Beginners - New Year New Me!

Ref: C3128093

The main focus of these sessions will be to improve our postural alignment. Each week will focus on a specific muscle and body group. We will begin by looking at the spine and improving spinal mobility and alignment. We will progress to neck and shoulders, hip mobility and finish with balance and the ankles and feet. Each class will have a thorough warm up, main phase and stretch and relaxation phase. Pilates helps to restore the mind body connection. It is a 'Method' of movement with 8 basic principles. The benefits of this method are numerous. As a beginner who is new to exercise it is low load bearing and focuses on protecting and strengthening our joints. Enjoy the improvement of your general mobility and learn some stretch and relaxation sequences that you can do at home. I have been teaching the Pilates method for over 15yrs with many of my private community classes currently running online.
