This course is aimed at those with some experience of doodling, or who have taken part in one of the Doodle Flowers for Beginners- Bee Creative! Courses. We will continue to explore the relaxing art of flower doodling and venture into some new areas such as Coastal and Feather doodles. We’ll be trying out new background designs, borders and continuing to explore colour and pattern in more depth. We will produce wonderful finished designs for use on various items. Course aim
To provide learners with an opportunity to progress in their learning of Flower Doodle Art and other suitable doodling subjects.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?

- This is a live lecture delivered by a subject specialist in an online webinar video learning platform. You will need to be able to access the internet on a device with speakers or earphones. - This course is for improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Complete at least 4 new doodle designs, such as flowers, foliage, coastal, feather designs.
- Follow instructions to create two new background designs to complement your doodles.
- Make at least three finished pieces such as a card, picture or design suitable for printing onto a surface of your choice.
- Select suitable materials for drawing and colouring doodle designs.
How will I be taught?
- The WEA’s digital learning platform, Canvas will be used to provide resources or to support lessons, enable assessment, provide learner feedback and for other activities for individuals away from the course. - This is a practical art course and you will be encouraged to work alongside the tutor.
What kind of feedback can I expect?
- You will be able to keep a record of your progress and achievement using photos, audio, text or documents uploaded into the WEA’s digital learning platform, WEA Canvas.
- You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
- You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
