Course aim
Let's Lose Weight & Gain Health - helps to re-examine our eating habits and make healthy changes by tracking our daily diet as well as looking at our activity levels and our mindset, helping to motivate and inspire you to look and feel healthier.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?

- This course is suitable for beginners and improvers
- After you enrol you will have access to Canvas our on-line teaching platform where you will find everything you need to participate in your course, including the link to Zoom for our live on-line sessions.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Plan a healthy eating plan in order to help me lose weight.
- Try to introduce activity into my routine.
- Work on my mindset to help motivate and inspire me.
- Remain calm, relaxed and in control and not feel under any pressure.
How will I be taught?
- The WEA’s digital learning platform, Canvas will be used to provide resources or to support lessons, enable assessment, provide learner feedback and for other activities for individuals away from the course. - The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning
What kind of feedback can I expect?
- You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
What else do I need to know?

- Nothing else is needed
- Please use a comfortable and supportive chair - preferably without arms, and you may wish to have a glass or bottle of water available. We will have a short comfort break to allow you make a beverage.
