The course will cover the following disciplines: song singing with a gentle vocal 'warm up' which readies the voice for singing, lead by the tutor. A music quiz, which stimulates the mind and knowledge of the students and is fun. Body percussion, where the hands are rhythmically moved around the body in sequence lead by the tutor, providing a memory activity and a gentle physical activity. Drum practice, where the tutor guides the students in playing a variety of rhythms, tapping the knees, clapping the hands and moving the feet. The song choices on this course will be appropriate for the students and may be modified slightly from the 2pm course.
